Sprouting Seeds: Learning About Structures of Plants

Help me give my students hydroponic plant holders and seeds in order to learn about the structures of plants.

My Project

Second and third graders will be learning about the plant life cycle and the importance of plants in our biodiversity. STEM learning needs to be hands on and being able to grow a plant and witness it's growth is important! Students will be able to monitor their own plant and see the plant throughout its stages. They will learn about parts of a plant, how to care for a plant and the importance of plants in our world!

We will use the hydroponic plant holders to hold the sprouts sprouted from the seeds.

Each table will be in charge of their own hydroponic plants. Students can learn about structures of plants while also seeing where food comes from!
