This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My school is located in Washington Heights. Most of our students are English Language Learners and students with special needs. At my school, we are dedicated to creating life long learners. We strive to help our students achieve the best to their abilities. I share my inclusion class with a special education teacher, and 25 kindergarteners. They come to school eager to learn and motivated to apply new skills every day. My goal as their teacher is to provide them with an unforgettable learning experience.
My Project
My kindergarten learners need an all in one printer in their classroom because it allows for more creativity. Students will have the ability to print images for their work right from the classroom. Having a printer in the classroom will also help to provide them with colorful learning centers that will keep them engaged. It will enhance our print rich classroom environment which will help them learn how to read. The ease of having one that can also make copies will alleviate those times when the copier isn’t working. I want to be able to provide a great learning experience for my students. This can certainly help me do that!
