Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach special education science and my students are amazing small humans who enjoy science. We use a certain platform for science class but I want to break the same routine and incorporate fun experiments and art into our lessons. My students come from a low income neighborhood so I also want to provide snacks, hygiene products, rewards (snacks and fidget toys) in the classroom and a much needed pencil sharpener. Your donation will create an impact into our science class. My room lacks storage space and the carts will be a useful item to store supplies. My students already enjoy science so I want to continue to spark their interest in the field. They will be so excited to work on experiments and use the additional items that were requested for their personal hygienic use and the incorporation of art in our lessons to express themselves through an art form when learning about science.
