My Project

Our students are eager to engage in a hands-on, immersive learning experience through a gardening and plant care project. We are seeking donor support to provide essential materials such as soil, seeds, pots, gardening tools, and plant care supplies to help bring this vision to life.

Gardening allows students to explore key science concepts such as plant life cycles, photosynthesis, and ecosystems in a tangible, real-world way.

By nurturing plants from seed to bloom, students observe, hypothesize, and analyze—critical skills for budding scientists. We also wish to foster a sense of teamwork. Gardening fosters patience, teamwork, and responsibility as students tend to their plants over time. This hands-on experience provides a calming, therapeutic space, helping students develop mindfulness and perseverance.

Ms. Anderson Friendship Public Charter School - Ideal Academy Grades 6-8
