This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As the art teacher this year, I think doing more than just coloring with markers is needed for my students. I want to broaden their horizons with watercolors, chalk, and oil pastels, starting with easier art products to work on more interesting projects to decorate the hallways. Adding simple to work with media is, I feel, the best way to move into our short 10-week courses. All ages can work with the watercolors and pastels, so let's liven up our white walls with some fun spring art projects.
