This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My middle school students work so hard and we're trying to give them a self-care day they deserve! The purpose of this day is to give students an opportunity to learn about the importance of self care and mental health.

It's so important that we give them a space to learn about the importance of self-care with concrete activities.

Our goal is to create different rooms for students to choose from with a variety of self-care activities. Example activities include: gardening, art, LEGO making, board games, puzzles, spa, etc. Please help us give this awesome day to our students!
