Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The students will use their five senses to explore plants and insects. They will discover how plants grow with just water. They will also learn how the plants can grow in soil. They will be able to grow their own plants and make observations. Then they will learn how the insects help or inhibit plants from growing. They will especially learn how bees pollinate the flowers and make it possible for them to grow and develop. They will use toy insects to pretend play. Finally, students will pretend to sell flower and plants in a shop. They will use their math skills to charge a fee. They will learn how to arrange the flowers so that they look nice enough to sell.
