Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Heading back from spring break the students will get a chance to practice all their skills with some final projects. These sharpies and boxes will add to my collection and allow us to stay organized. Thanks to DonorsChoose I don't have to make as many Target runs so that I can restock on basic supplies. Also the plates and cookies will be enjoyed by all the students in my classes and in French club.

This is the time for student's to shine.

They have made it to April and can work more independently. But most importantly, their work and project deserve new markers. Also the students love getting rewarded with snacks and goodies.

Thank you or supporting these students as they create their body parts project, their neighborhood, and their final project booklet of the year. Students in my French classes definitely put their full effort when they are working together and using the best materials possible.

The cookies will help us for an activity called guess the cookie. They are blindfolded and they guess which cookie is American and which one is French. Even though they can usually tell the difference, these students love to try new things and to interact with their peers at lunch at French club. Thank you in advance for your support and help. These donor choose projects allow me to stay focused on teaching in spring time and help keep the students focused on their school work! It takes a lot of resources to keep students on task but I am excited to make this happen for my students. Lastly the keychains are given to students on their birthdays.
