My Project

I love my students’ curiosity, dedication, and hands-on approach to learning. They thrive when given real-world agricultural experiences, and this project will provide them with essential resources to enhance their skills in both gardening and poultry care. The requested items—chicken feed, feeders and waterers, egg cartons for chickens and quail, grow lights, and coconut coir—will allow students to actively engage in sustainable food production. These materials will give them firsthand experience in plant growth, soil management, and animal care, fostering critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork.

My goal for this project is to equip students with practical agricultural skills that will benefit them academically and professionally.

By growing plants and raising poultry, they will learn about sustainability, responsibility, and agribusiness practices. This hands-on experience will not only align with our curriculum but also provide valuable insights into career paths in agriculture, agribusiness, and entrepreneurship. Additionally, maintaining the garden and poultry will instill a strong work ethic and a sense of accountability as they care for living organisms and manage essential resources.

What makes my students special is their eagerness to learn and apply their knowledge to real-world situations. Many come from rural backgrounds with a deep appreciation for agriculture, while others are just beginning to explore its impact. This project will inspire them to take ownership of their learning, develop confidence in their abilities, and understand the importance of sustainable food production. With these resources, they will be empowered to gain hands-on experience, strengthen their problem-solving skills, and build a foundation for future success in agriculture and beyond.
