This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I enjoy doing read alouds with my lower grade classes in the library. Unfortunately, the library that I started working in this year does not have many books on spring. My goals are to introduce the students to literature about spring to broaden their background knowledge. They might be able to explain that we are in the season of spring but can not provide more details.

Once the students are introduced to these books they will be able to borrow them and read with their family at home, making sure that a connection is made between home and school.
