Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students learn about life cycles in spring- plants specifically. After listening to shared literature about seeds, gardens, and plants, students will then get to plant their own seeds using the bulbs, soil, water globes, and planting containers.

We will then observe the growth of our plants and learn how to take care of them.

We will discuss what seeds need to grow and experiment with the amount of light by placing them around our classroom in various amounts of light.

At the end of our life cycle unit, students will get to take their plants home!

We are also requesting toner cartridges to supplement the unit with differentiated worksheets. This toner will enable me the opportunity to print using color, which will greatly benefit my learners with special needs.
