Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project is to bring some brightness to my classroom and students as we enter the season of spring! The materials I requested such as the spring decorations, a wreath, and the battery and electric powered lighting will help to create a calm and relaxing space for my students to work.

The organizational bins will help me organize and store away excess supplies for easy access to students.

The calendar will help my students and I keep track of important dates and create checklists. These organizational materials help to create a stress-free environment. The healthy treats will be given to my students as a positive reinforcement reward throughout the spring season.

Classroom environment is so important towards student success and I am excited to be able to provide my students with a comforting and calm environment. I believe this will help them stay focused and motivated.

My students have worked so hard this year and especially this month during our state test prep season. Rewarding them with a calm space and celebrating them throughout the spring is the least I can do to show them my appreciation towards how hard they have been working each and every day and how they have continued to remain motivated.
