My Students

My students are an amazing and creative group of kids. They are expressive, funny, and forever keep me on my toes.

Some of my students have difficulty learning in the traditional way, and they need to get creative in how they navigate school.

All of my students are awesome and deserve the very best we, as a community, can provide for them.

These kids deserve the best tools to work with, books to read, and resources to work with. I feel so lucky to get to work with the kids at my school.

My Project

We’re moving to middle school! Next fall my classes are going to be taught in the middle school building. We're going being doing work cooperatively so we need a table to work at, a movable easel to brainstorm ideas, and share with the class. Next fall, not only will we be learning about American literature, but we’re adding British literature, and 6th, 7th, and 8th grade Language Arts. We’ll also be learning in a new-to-is classroom. It needs a fresh coat of paint and a few new teaching tools. All of us are looking forward to an exciting school year.
