My Project

The students in our Green Teams I and 2 have worked tirelessly to plan and implement our Sustainability Initiatives for the 2021/22 School Year. Some of our team members will be off to middle school and taking their enthusiasm for the environment with them. The rest of us would like to hit the ground running for the 2022/23 school year. We will be part of the school wide Spring Into Summer Fair which will be held in our school's playground. The Green Teams will be on hand to ensure that proper recycling is being practiced but we will also be holding a recruitment drive for new members as well as spreading our message to the entire student body and their families. The members of our school community will have an opportunity to learn about issues that affect our planet through trivia, contests, games, and garden activities. They will even have an opportunity to make healthy smoothies by riding our "Blender Bike."

The carefully chosen water bottles, games and prizes will serve as incentives to demonstrate to our entire community that we can save the earth and have fun at the same time.

Families will leave the playground with a renewed commitment to doing all that they can to be more environmentally responsible. Help us make this final initiative of the school year, a resounding success for us and the environment.
