This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The items I’m requesting will bring the magic of the holiday season into our classroom while fostering creativity and teamwork. These resources will allow students to engage in fun, hands-on learning activities like building holiday-themed STEM projects or creating decorations that incorporate design and problem-solving skills. By connecting learning with the joy of the season, these tools will make lessons more memorable and meaningful.

My goal is to create a festive and enriching learning environment where students can celebrate the holiday spirit while gaining valuable skills.

I want to encourage them to think creatively, collaborate with their peers, and take pride in their work. This project will not only enhance their academic growth but also build a sense of community and joy during this special time of year.

My students are a wonderful group of bright and curious learners who bring so much heart to the classroom. They come from diverse backgrounds, each bringing unique talents and perspectives that enrich our learning community. Many of them face challenges outside of school, but their resilience and enthusiasm for learning are truly inspiring. This project will give them a chance to celebrate together and create lasting memories, making the holidays even more meaningful for them.
