My Project

My students work hard to be able do their best while receiving Learning Support services. Sometimes they have to work twice as hard to succeed. My students sometimes get discouraged if they continuously do not get the letter grade they hope for, even if they continue to improve each week on tests and assignments. Their definition of success is defined by their growth and perseverance, not by a single letter grade.

Getting an encouraging piece of mail unexpectedly can encourage students to continue to work hard and be proud of what they have accomplished.

I want my students to be proud of their hard work. Getting a postcard in the mail unexpectedly will help build their confidence in their abilities to work through challenges. I want my students to be proud of their academic, behavior, and dedication.

In addition to building their confidence, this will also help build positive communication between myself and families. Thank you so much for taking the time to read about our project and consider our room for your support. We are very grateful.
