Help me give my students a safe environment where their hands are sanitized and desks are clean as soon as they walk in the classroom.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I am a second grade teacher in a low-income, high-poverty school district. I have a class of wonderful second graders who are English language learners, special education students, and general education students who come from various ethnic backgrounds.
Despite the many challenges my students face, my students come to school eager to learn and strive to do better.
The recent pandemic has really put a major obstacle in front of our students. School closures have separated our students from us teachers, counselors and other staff members who support them during important developmental transitions and difficult times.
Despite these circumstances, my students are doing their best to learn from home but lack basic school supplies and food that they would have received during a normal school day.
The closures of schools across the country, will likely precipitate a “widening gap” between low- and high-income students. School closures prompted by the Coronavirus pandemic have sent families scrambling for solutions—balancing their work schedules with childcare and their children's needs for social stimulation and learning. As a result, many of my students are in need at this time. Please help me give my students everything they need.
My Project
Please help me spread love and not germs with necessary germ fighting supplies! Students and teachers in my classroom will feel more comfortable and safe if given proper material. We will be able to work with less anxiety and know that we are doing everything we can to keep each other healthy and safe. We need these supplies, as our district does not supply the necessary cleaning supplies. With the extreme need now during the pandemic and the extra supplies that will go throughout this year. We cannot rely on the district, state, or parents to buy our supplies. Teachers often buy their own supplies, but it will be too much this year with everything needed.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
