My Students

My students are perseverant! Although they face many challenges, they are willing to work hard and never give up. This year came to an abrupt and anxiety-ridden turn when the pandemic forced us to quarantine. But my students showed up to virtual classes and kept on forging ahead. It was a life-altering moment.

The classroom gave them the chance to learn the lessons before the real-life experiences, but this pandemic made them take action and make disciplined choices to show up every day and to do the work virtually and continue on.

They not only did it but they did it well.

My Project

I want to make sure our school community is safe and protected to the fullest extent we can provide. The air purifiers will be used to ensure that we are reducing the spread of germs and bacteria in the classroom.

Kids need to feel secure and safe in school before they can commit to learning.

Once they feel secure, they can dive into a good read: Storyworks!

A subscription of reading material that kids absolutely love and that doesn't have to be shared can help slow the spread of Covid19.
