Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We call our classroom The Kindness Kingdom and start our day with a kindness pledge! The emotional health of my first graders is critical. We cannot learn if our emotions are not regulated. Classroom discussions will launch our community service project to encourage students to spread kindness everywhere they go.

In The Kindness Kingdom, we follow the Platinum Rule...Treat people better than you want to be treated!

Kindness is a key skill that guides our lives. This community service project will allow my Kindness Crew to spread kindness around school, to the middle school next door, and at home! Students will create kindness gifts to share from the pen kits, stickers, mints, and positive pickles.
