This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

During this winter season, many of my students are absent due to illness such as cold, flu or upper respiratory infection. Being at home, many students are missing valuable education and social skills building. My goal with the students is to teach them how to watch their hands correctly to reduce the spreading of germs. In addition, it prevents teachers from becoming sick.

With the Glo Germ lotion, the student will be able to see how well they wash their hands.

The blacklight will illuminate any germs that were left after the student has washed their hands. I will utilize the technique with all elementary students in my school. Hopefully, the students are able to pass the correct way of handwashing to their families and friends.
