My Project

Social Emotional Learning provides skills to help students thrive in their daily life. It allows students to discover self-awareness, self-management, responsible decision making, relationship skills, and social awareness. The Little Spots of Emotions is an SEL series that allows student to learn about Social Emotional Learning through fun, creative, and interactive stories. The stories provide students with skills to identify their emotions and how to apply coping skills when needed. We have currently been incorporating The Little Spots of Emotions in our classrooms, but only have 1 set for the whole school. As a school, we have noticed how the students are excited to learn about their emotions and how to apply coping skills throughout their day.

With these items, each class will be able to use the same SEL program in order to teach students these valuable skills to use in their lives.

If we have a set of books for each class, it will allow all teachers to teach students how to identify their emotions, along with providing them with coping skills. Our students love The Little Spots of Emotions series. Let's allow each classroom to have access to this creative Social Emotional lesson.
