Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students love sports! They live and breathe it every single day. They are a diverse group of students who all have unique ways of expressing their passion for sports. My current basketball program has students from all middle school grade levels, Watching my players grow and help each other develop is such an amazing feeling. My students have grown with me and have learn that being a part of a team is much more than individual results. That is what I admire the most of my student athletes.

My Project

The uniforms I am requesting are to help my team participate in this year’s basketball season. Currently my team does not have uniforms. These uniforms will go a long way in helping us fund this years team. My players are student athletes and work hard on and off the court, maintaining a 80 average minimum to remain active on my team. These players deserve to play this year. Hard work should always be rewarded. I truly believe in the power of sports in schools, and these uniforms will help my basketball program remain active. Thank you for taking the time to consider my project and I truly hope you can help.
