Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are hard working and eager individuals that value learning. They all come from various, socio-economic backgrounds. However, they all strive to become better students, athletes and people. The best part about them is that they value their school community and their extensive community. They like to be involved with various projects in our area and they enjoy being part of something bigger than themselves. Through sports, my students are able to do all these things and truly improve themselves and their community.

My Project

These materials are going to bring a different dimension of sport-specific training to our student-athletes. Through the different equipment we will be able to create a variety of dynamic exercises and challenges for our student-athletes. Many students lose focus easily, especially when not challenged appropriately or when things become monotonous. The goal is to shake things up with the addition of the Bosu balls, slam balls and wall balls. We want to expose our student-athletes to new training techniques that they will also be able to utilize well into their adult lives. Keeping things new and exciting will enhance the experience of our student-athletes.
