Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Over the recent years my school's organized sports program both has a school class and after school program has dramatically increased.

All the items I requested will help my student athletes to succeed during PE class and during competition!

My school has very limited space and has a constraint budget. With the growing popularity of sports at my school, it has become difficult to meet demands. Below I will explain how many of the items I am requesting will help my athletic program.

The iron on vinyl are for my team's sports jerseys. They require repairs as sports can be tough on clothing. The ball cart is going to be used strictly for my volleyball team, which is the most popular team sport at my school. The band aids will be for when my students get a cut/wound. The megaphone is for communicating in an open field with +50 students. The snacks are for my sports teams to take before they have a game. The baseball equipment will used for our baseball/softball equipment. The volleyball set will be used for recess, recreational practice and normal PE. The large sports clock will be used for track and timing students for the physical fitness test. The stadium seats will be used inside classrooms when students need to find more seats. The chalk is for the lower elementary students and recess. And lastly the large wagon will be used to move all our PE equipment around, we don't have a school field, so we have to use a local park.

I hope this gives perspective on why I am asking for these items.
