My Students

Room 16 is a group of highly diverse and energetic students fourth graders in an suburban Los Angeles charter school. We love to learn. We are hard workers and try our best in all subject areas. Our classroom has future scientists, writers, artists, and firefighters in it. Along with doctors, lawyers, nurses and maybe even a teacher or two. Their futures are as bright as a LED light! But we can’t do it alone. We need your help to make our dreams come true.

My Project

Having a stationary bike in my classroom will help the students who can not sit still and focus have a way to get out their extra energy and re-focus on their studies. After hearing that Archie Bradley’s, the pitcher for the Arizona Diamondbacks, teacher put a stationary bike in her classroom to help him harness his energy I knew this brilliant idea would work in my classroom as well. This year I have at least 4 students this would help. Next year and in the future who knows? I only wish I had heard Archie Bradley’s story sooner. What a great idea!
