This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My fifth grade students are today's scholars and tomorrow's leaders who are curious, enthusiastic, creative, and eager to immerse themselves in any kind of challenge! In addition to academics, our students practice making positive human connections with daily choices that support R.I.S.E.—Respect, Integrity, Safety, and Excellence, and they are recognized monthly for demonstrating these character traits.

In fifth grade, students are required to do physical fitness testing, and these under-desk elliptical machines and stationary bikes will help students improve their cardiovascular health, build endurance, and enhance motor skills to prepare for this.

Thank you very much for making time to read our project, and for choosing to bring “Spinning Into Fitness” to life for my students! I am extremely appreciative of any support you are able to give, and we look forward to having this equipment available to give students more opportunities for fitness and movement in our classroom.
