My Students

My school has the opportunity to introduce our students to a spinning class. We have cycling machines in several classrooms that will allow my students to remain active and create healthy lifestyle choices. This class is important because it will provide them with resources, including educational packets on a healthy lifestyle, hygienic changes, and much more all while staying fit. This class will allow them to enjoy getting the workout routines that will be provided in the lesson plans, information, and data off the screens connected to the machines, and learning new things about ourselves on an SEL aspect.

My Project

During this coronavirus pandemic, my students are/were going through a difficult time with housing situations, remote learning, getting materials to continue learning, and keeping a sense of comfort. Our families are struggling, they come from low-income households and have not had much experience with the world outside their small community.

We are able to create several classes that will allow the students to use spinning bikes.

We need resources to help allow all the students to participate as a group. Supplies such as pencils and pens, notebooks, Post-its, etc. The students will be able to document and complete lessons based on the lesson plans incorporated with the spinning classes.

These students rely on me to make their spinning classroom a comforting, safe, and inviting place. We want to continue learning, become healthier mentally and physically, and thrive.
