I teach kindergarten in a high-need community that has a very low income rate. The problem with this is the kids don't get the supplies they so desperately need! I have done all that I can but I am a first year teacher and I don't have a lot of money, but believe me, I still spent it on them! It would be wonderful if the students were able to get the little extras within the classroom that they need to further motivate them to go over and beyond the normal so that they can become extraordinary!

With in the last 2 weeks of school I have also gained 3 more students within my classroom, this is enough of a challenge trying to get them adjusted to the routines, but as soon as they heard about getting a treasure box toy if they did all of their homework for the week. They were so motivated to get all of that done to make sure they get to go inside the box. Unfortunately I am running out of donated treasure box toys and I would love to be able to have these all year long to keep the motivation in the classroom and an all time high, so this is my biggest challenge within my classroom right now! Please, we need your help!

My students might not have trouble being motivated to do their homework, but it sure does help them make sure that mom and dad help them do their homework because they get a toy from the treasure box at the end of the week, if they've done all their homework. Well right now, the treasure box is just a box, nothing fun and exciting! I am also running out of toys to give them, I've gotten all the toys donated, but now I need some more. This treasure box is awesome looking as well as having 250 more treasure box toys inside of it! We would also love to be able to hang up bulletin boards around the classroom! Job assignments, money charts, the alphabet, and the number of days in school. All of these bulletin boards are crucial inside a classroom for learning purposes and our classroom is without them!! Please help my students stay motivated!!

This is a great opportunity for you to help students who need the help!! These kids are trying their hardest but without the needed supplies, they are falling farther and farther behind, this is why motivation is such a big concern inside the classroom, and these supplies will help to motivated them!!
