Students at my school walk into the classroom every day full of life, ready to learn, and excited to participate in the learning opportunities that take place in our school's community.
The environment at our school cultivates a learning community where students are provided with many opportunities to work collaboratively in order to problem solve, think creatively, and use critical thinking to accomplish learning tasks.
I am proud that I am able to contribute to the learning that takes place in this innovative school.
My Project
I am entering my 14th year of teaching and have been blessed with amazing professional development and brilliant colleagues along the way. I was able to see spheros in action and witness how they can add excitement and hands on learning to virtually any classroom lesson, small group, whole group demonstration, or partner activity. My mind immediately went into planning mode and I have so many ways I can take our classroom curriculum and update it with the use of these amazing gadgets in our room!
I am requesting for generous donations to help add 6 spheros to my classroom STEAM library.
We will use them often and I am excited to make classroom games, lessons, and group work more engaging for my kiddos with the use of coding to help my classroom continue to grow, move, and learn outside of the box!
