Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a new graduate, I am starting off with no materials for my classroom, which makes it challenging to provide the best learning experiences for my students.

The items I’m requesting—such as chair cushions, interactive games, markers, dot markers, and a mouth model for speech—will directly support my students' learning and development.

The chair cushions will help students stay focused and comfortable during lessons, particularly those who need additional sensory support. Interactive games will make learning fun and engaging, encouraging participation and reinforcing important language skills.The markers and dot markers will allow students to engage in creative, hands-on activties.

The mouth model will be an essential tool for improving speech articulation, helping students visualize proper mouth movements and develop clearer speech. These materials will help me provide a well-rounded, effective learning experience despite starting without any resources.

As a new teacher, my primary goal for this project is to create a classroom environment that is well-equipped with the resources needed to support my students' learning. These materials will enable me to promote both their academic and personal growth by providing tools that enhance focus, engagement, and communication skills. My students are special because they bring many unique experiences, strengths, and challenges to the classroom. They deserve access to engaging materials that will help them succeed and thrive in their learning.
