My Project

Speech and language therapy can be challenging becuase you are typically working with student's with disabilities on below grade level material. Sometimes these student's are not ready to target the grade-level material. When students know they are struggling with school, this can negatively impact behavior, engagement, peer relationships, motivation etc.

These seasonal books and Hot Dot activites will help improve engagement, motivation, and communication skills for my students with disabilities.

The books and activities I have selected are engaging for students and seasonal. They target a variety of speech and language goals I can target with my students.
