My Project

My students with special needs learn differently -- they are visual-kinesthetic learners. Their learning requires a lot of tangible objects that they can manipulate for understanding. As a SpEd teacher, I would like to give my students a variety of materials that will allow them to understand Math and Science better.

Learning concepts in Math and Science can be overwhelming, but with your contribution, Math and Science can be less intimidating.

With the manipulatives, each student in my class can operate on the material while I discuss content. With the colored worksheets, my students can visualize models better and understand content like it was real. And as we end our classes, they reflect on their learnings while enjoying a small treat for a job well-done in class.
