This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

It is my firm belief that every student, regardless of their abilities or disabilities, should have the opportunity to excel academically and participate actively in shaping their education.

As we are all aware, special education students often face unique challenges in the classroom.

One significant area where these students require special attention is in their ELA classes.

By giving special education students the option to choose books and novels that genuinely interest them, we can spark their enthusiasm for reading and learning.

With your support I will be able to

Expand the Library: Invest in a broader selection of books and novels, including materials that cater to various reading levels and interests.

Accessible Materials: Ensure that all reading materials are available in various formats, such as large print, audiobooks, or digital formats, to cater to the specific needs of each student.
