Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I have a very special fifth grade class. My students come to school excited for the day. They come with different needs and are very supportive of one another.

What I love most about them is their positive attitude and eagerness to learn.

They always look forward to learning something new, as well as help others once they have mastered the skill. They love to collaborate with one another and build off of each other's knowledge. They are beyond amazing!

My Project

Because my students love to work on hands-on activities, my students will be able to wear lab coats and safety glasses to participate in fun Science activities. Using microscopes and microscope slides will allow my students to see particles that are too small to be seen by the human eye alone.

The Water Science kit will allow my students to work on twenty-three different STEM activities, such as bubbles experiments.

The Solar System kit will provide students with a visual representation of the solar system. The Erupting Volcanoes kit will allow my students to work through chemical reactions. Using these resources in my classroom will enhance my students' love for Science!
