Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We are requesting various sensory items such as Tilt & Turn Liquid Sensory Windows, Shake & Soothe Sensory Tubes, and a Color-Changing Touch Board to supplement our sensory station to better support our students with ASD and their need to self regulate. These items will help to soothe their anxiety, calm down any big emotions and allow them to relax. We are also requesting hand sanitizer, Lysol spray and tissues as we move into cold weather season in an effort to keep our students healthy and prevent the spread of germs so that everyone can continue coming to school each and everyday. Lastly, the snacks are for my students to munch on throughout the day because as kindergartners, they have a very early lunch and are frequently very cranky and hungry in the afternoons. These snacks should help them to focus and last through to the end of the day.
