Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I work in a mainly Spanish/Chinese community. My students all speak English is a second language. My students are very special because they are trying their best to learn in a language that isn’t that familiar to them. They try their best and come to school happy and ready to learn something new every day. My students deserve to learn in an environment where they feel loved, comfortable and motivated to learn. These are students who don’t always live with their parents. They often don’t receive the love they deserve. I want to give them a classroom they deserve!

My Project

These materials will allow my students to enhance their creativity and release stressors! My students face stressors on a daily basis that aren’t in their control such as poverty, financial challenges etc. They shouldn’t have to worry about anything else’s while in school. These seats will allow them to relax and focus on the task at hand. They will also be able to bring the seats into the hallway or around the room wherever it’s best for them to concentrate and learn. Students will also be able to work together in groups easier. Teachers can also sit with them and it will be easier to look at students and work with them.
