My Project

My elementary special needs students need nutritious, delicious food to have the energy to focus and learn. Whether breakfast waffles from the cafeteria need to be defrosted, or parent-packed cold foods in the lunchboxes need reheating, our students feel better, learn better, and behave better, when they are fed appropriately.

These young elementary special needs students need to be served hot foods and this microwave will be used to heat frozen breakfast and lunch foods.

In the "grab and go" meals, often students are given a cold or frozen food package, which is not nice to eat.
