Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

As a special education teacher, I need to constantly print out visuals to support my students in their learning.

We are located in a low-income neighborhood.

Most of my students live in city housing (the projects) and face challenges that small children should not face. These are sweet students who come to school to learn and we try to make the best of it, given our limited resources.

My Project

My students will be able to identify and absorb the information faster because of the support of printed materials, pictures and worksheets. They will be able to receive the appropriate education they need because of this simple tool we desperately need.

This simple printer will make teaching so much more efficient, which in turn will help my students because they can learn the material with the supports they need: photographs, worksheets.
