This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
If fully funded, this project will provide our Special Needs Pre-K Classroom with materials to engage our students in learning across a variety of areas. Our students appreciate having access to a variety of learning materials, some of which are rotated in the classroom to maintain student interest. My students love to experiment with cause and effect, and resources like the My First Marble Run and the Roll and Race Activity Ramp promote these skills.
I have not found resources that are durable enough to hold up to a Pre-K classroom the way that Lakeshore Learning materials can.
They are the highest quality I have found, by far. They are also safe, developmentally appropriate, and my students really enjoy engaging with them more than other resources I have purchased.
