My classroom is occupied by the most loving, special kids I have ever met. I teach SLC (structured learning classroom), which is a special education class that stays with another teacher and me all day. To project assignments and model them for my students, they need a document camera. The document camera will aid in helping me follow their accommodations on their IEP (Individualized Education Program). The document camera will also allow my students to take turns answering questions on the smartboard that they know. They absolutely love writing on my board!
The rolling storage cart will help them to be responsible.
This will allow me to teach them how to put their assignments in the different drawers. They have been working very hard on being accountable for themselves while they are at school.
The building blocks will serve as an instructional tool for my non-verbal students. They are able to group like colors as well as shapes with blocks such as these. The students love being able to "play", when actually they are learning while having fun!
