This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a new teacher at a Career Transition Center, I’m thrilled to introduce a soap-making strand that we are building from the ground up. My students are creative, hardworking, and fully committed to learning new skills as they embark on this exciting project. They are eager to see their efforts come to fruition by creating beautiful, market-ready soaps. To enhance their experience and help them add a professional touch to their work, we need a Cricut machine. This tool will enable them to design and produce custom labels and stickers for their soaps, boosting their creativity and providing valuable entrepreneurial skills. With your support, my students will not only gain practical skills but also experience the pride of seeing their hard work make a real-world impact.
