Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I am a Special Education Teacher/Instructional Assistant in a high needs, low income, Title 1 school. Our students are primarily English Language Learners.

Our school is 70% ELL students and 100% of our students qualify for free breakfast and Lunch.

We are starting the year 100% Distance Learning. This project will benefit our Special Education students.

My Project

These supplemental learning materials will enable special education students to adapt to our virtual learning environment. These will help my students in pre-k, 3rd, and 4th develop fine motor skills and mathematical concepts like multiplications, fractions, division, and place values.

Students will be more engaged when they can physically see the math problems.

They will also be able to practice as they learned and receive real time feedback.

This is my first project through DonorsChoose.org and so grateful for their support during this exceptional time of learning and teaching.
