My Project

Our most severe population of special needs students rarely get the opportunity to attend one of the high school's highlights: senior prom! We want our high school special education girls to feel pretty and glamorous by giving them a beauty salon experience. Girls from several high schools in the Honolulu district will be attending this year's Unity Prom and would love to experience the excitement of getting "glammed up"!

We are requesting hair and makeup products to enhance their experience.

They will be getting first-class treatment from volunteer hair and makeup artists this year as they use items such as curling irons plugged into surge protectors, hair extensions, and more! These students will also be getting lessons on personal hygiene, etiquette, and social graces.
