Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are all so different and unique in their own way. The students that I see, are only with me for a short time period throughout the day which is why it is so important that they have the tools to help them succeed. I see most of my students for a small group of instruction in reading, math or both.

In my class, we focus on building a safe and welcoming environment for the students to grow academically and social-emotionally.

I am very excited to begin this new year with all of my students and see how far they grow yet again. I am hopeful that this year will be slightly less challenging for my students in terms of the pandemic.

My Project

As a Special Education teacher, students may need a variety of tools to help them learn in my classroom. Whether that is organization / storage materials, books to read or sensory items.

I want to provide my students with plenty of resources to help them succeed in my classroom so that they can take their learning and use it in the general education setting, as they are general education students first!

I am so excited to continue to teach those little minds with these awesome tools for kindergarten through fifth grade!
