My Project

Our school is made up of a diverse population that varies across race, ethnicity, and capabilities. We have learners that are in general education classrooms all the way to self-contained. Our goal is to make sure that all learners have the opportunity to succeed.

Some of our learners have special needs meaning that might require special tools to help succeed.

Unfortunately, our school has limited access to some of these materials. Together, the special education self-contained teachers in our school decided we wanted to build a Special Education Storage closet where we could put materials that teachers could rent out for students in need.

Some items include wobble cushions, yoga ball chairs, bouncy bands and more. These materials may help students across various disability classifications. We can't wait to be able to reach some of our learners that may start to flourish when having these tools at their fingertips.
