My Project

I currently teach 4th and 5th grade Special Education students. These students have daily academic and social needs. My goal for them is to have access to a variety of resources (rain stick kits, sticky notes, and visual displays) that will help them learn. My students learn best with different presentation styles. Many of them thrive when material is presented in one of the following ways: visual, auditory, tactile and kinesthetic.

Special Education students achieve great success when provided with the right support and resources.

With individualized instruction, accommodations and a nurturing environment, they can thrive academically and socially. It is important to recognize and celebrate their unique strengths and accomplishments.
