Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are in a special education program. During Covid, many of them did not have the needed opportunities and resources to keep up with their learning goals and they regressed in skills. In addition, my students struggle with social emotional learning and they have low self-esteem due to their very low academic achievement. The boogie boards with help us practice our spelling skills and phonics skills. The fidgets will help us calm down when we are stressed and overwhelmed. The tobaloos will help us listen to the sounds in words. Thank you for helping us succeed!
