Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My special education students need more preferred seating options in the classroom. We currently have none other than the regular chairs they use to sit at their desk with. It would be of great help if we could get them optional seating options for them to enjoy reading, writing or even as a way to calm themselves down. This rug and couch would be a great asset to my classroom and it will encourage students to want to do work in a comfortable setting. My hope is that the students will see that there is some effort being directed towards feeling better within the classroom setting.
