Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

I teach health at an inner city school in a low economy area with all students receiving free or reduced lunch. I want to help the students to become healthy.

I was given health on the first day of school. All summer I was preparing to have the 3-5th grade special education. All summer I was buying materials and planning lessons for that class. I arrived at school on the first day and I was given health without any time to prepare. I already spent hundreds of dollars on materials on what I thought was my class assignment. Please help the students. It is the students that will benefit from this.

I am requesting materials to show students healthy living. I am requesting doctor and dentist information. We need food toys for students to learn about healthy and non-healthy choices. I want these students to learn about making the right decisions. Please help.

With your help we can ensure that my inner city students have what they need in order to make healthy decisions.
