My Project

This year I am teaching a kindergarten special education class (small class - 12:1:1). My wonderful young students need some important supplies to help them reach their fullest potential in our classroom!

Tools like sensory toys/fidgets, noise cancelling headphones, laminating pouches, and velcro dots are essential in a special education classroom!

The sensory toys/fidgets will help my little learners when they are coping with big feelings or need to move their bodies during a lesson. The magnetic blocks will be used for brain breaks when students need to relax and re-energize! Noise canceling headphones are essential for students who get scared and/or overstimulated by loud noises. Lastly, velcro and laminating pouches are key for a variety of projects in every special education classroom for visual schedules, adaptive math or ELA activities, classroom posters, and more!
